Hi All:

At our first committee meeting after the AGM we discussed, at some length, the questions that had been raised.

Viewing the minutes

Please email Cathy if you wish a copy of the latest minutes. At this time we do not envisage putting the minutes on the web site as it may have Data protection implications.

Moving the play dates

From the AGM discussions on this question it would seem that May & October are the main problems coinciding as they do with school half terms. It would be difficult to move the May production in any direction as we also have bank holidays, so we will be liaising with the hall committee to see what we can achieve.

New members

We have decided to have a special committee meeting to discuss this thorny issue. In the first instance we will contact other societies in the area to see if we can help each other with any problems. We would welcome any ideas from you, please email me in time for the next committee meeting on Tues Nov 6^th.

October production

Unless the hall can be booked on our set build/play dates we will be liable for the payment. We feel we should use them if possible, so two social evenings have been planned.

Sat October 20^th 7.30 for 8pm

Mari & Lawrence will be leading a run through of some of the material for the January Revue. All you need to bring is your favourite tipple. 

Friday October 26^th “Party Pieces” 7.30 for 8pm

How about a fish & chip  supper, just email me your orders and I will collect the money on the night. Bring your Friday night booze allowance and your party piece and have a fun evening.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

It is that time again, the date we have booked is Saturday Dec 1^st at the hall.   

The choice for the main course is:

Beef Bourguignon

Vegetable Goulash

Please contact me with your choice by Nov 6th our next committee meeting so that we can cater for you all. 

As our new charity MS will miss out on their donation from the October production we will be running a raffle on the night any prize donations will be gratefully received.
